Bomb goes off in Colorado

We’re getting reports that a bomb of some sort detonated outside of a Colorado High School. The school is “Ponderosa High School”, located in the town of Parker, Colorado. Initial reports I received said there were injuries. However, as of five minutes ago Reuters and TheDenverChannel are reporting NO INJURIES, and one arrest.

The arrested individual is a student at the school and chemicals that had not yet been mixed were found in his possession.

I have two sources for this information at this point.

SAN FRANCISCO, April 20 (Reuters) - Officials evacuated a high school in Parker, Colorado, on Friday after hearing an explosion behind the school that did not injure anyone, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office said. Deputy Cocha Heyden said officials apprehended a suspect in the Ponderosa High School case after the morning explosion and found another explosive device in his possession. The explosion came on the eighth anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colorado.
